Your contacts
The contact tabs are where Sage keeps the people you know and sell to. Contacts belong to your workspace and never show up in another one.
The tabs
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| All | Every contact in the workspace. Search by name, email, company or title |
| By Worker | Your contacts grouped by the worker they belong to |
| Segments | Your contacts grouped by segment tag. Tap a segment to filter the list; tap Clear filter to see everyone again |
| Recent | Contacts added or updated in the last 30 days |
Add a contact
- Tap + Add Contacts.
- Choose Add one manually, fill in the form and tap Add contact.
- Or ask Sage in chat: "Add Kai Nakamura, kai@example.com, at Island Roofing." Sage shows a card; tap it.
If the person is already in your contacts, Sage refuses and tells you who they match. Imports and duplicates →
Edit or delete a contact
- Edit: tap a contact, tap Edit, change a field and tap Save. Or ask Sage ("change Kai's title to Owner"); she shows a card.
- Delete: select contacts and tap Delete selected, then confirm. Or ask Sage. A delete is a soft delete: the contact is marked deleted and stays recoverable for 30 days. A STOP or unsubscribe on their number or email stays in force.
Segments
Segments are tags such as "sales-leads" or "vendors". Add a segment tag when you import or add a contact.
To have Sage suggest some, tap Auto-organize. She scans your contacts and proposes segments. Nothing changes until you apply one.
Find leads
The buttons Find sales leads, Find investors, Find media contacts and Find vendors are not available in your workspace yet. Our lead-data provider's license covers SOCIII's own use only, so lead search turns on once we have a reseller agreement. Until then, add contacts by hand or import a CSV.
Ask Sage
- "How many contacts do I have?" and "What segments are there?"
- "Find Kai Nakamura." Sage searches your contacts.
- "Any duplicates?"
