Rules that always apply
Marketing speaks for your business, so Ivy follows the rules below on every request.
Nothing is published without approval
- A draft never posts. An owner or admin approves each post with a date and time.
- Ivy never posts on her own, including from her daily routine.
- Ivy says "saved" or "scheduled" only when the result says so.
- Just before sending, Ivy checks the post again. If something changed (a blocked word, or the approver is no longer an owner or admin), the post goes back to draft and you hear about it.
Your accounts only
Posts go out from your own connected LinkedIn or X account, through the person who approved. Ivy can't post from SOCIII's accounts or anyone else's. If the approver's account isn't connected, the post becomes "post it yourself".
Checks on every post
- Blocked words or phrases, one per line, set by an owner or admin. A post that contains one can't be approved.
- Length: X allows 280 characters, LinkedIn 3,000.
- No promises of guaranteed or risk-free results.
- Daily limit: most posts per channel per day, 1 to 25 (the default is 5). Posts you publish yourself don't count.
Facts you gave her
Ivy uses only facts you gave her. Where a detail is missing she leaves a [placeholder]. She doesn't invent prices, dates or results, and she doesn't quote views, clicks or likes because she doesn't have them.
Records
Every post keeps a history of who created, edited, approved, cancelled or sent it, with the text before and after an edit. Entries are added, never edited or deleted, so the history is tamper-evident. It shows that something changed. It doesn't prove the content is accurate.
What Ivy won't do
- No legal, tax or investment advice, and no compliance sign-off. Your own review decides what is right to publish.
- No Instagram or Facebook.
- No email sending from SOCIII yet. Ivy writes; you send.
- No mixing workspaces. Ivy reads and changes only the workspace you're in.
Hand-offs
Contacts and one-to-one messages go to Sage. Reminders and tasks go to Alex. What you spend on marketing goes to Max.
