What Alex will and won't do
Alex runs a lot of your day, so the limits matter. They apply on every request.
Nothing happens without your tap
- Adding or removing a worker, an email, a calendar event, a task, an Operating Feed item, a Vault record and every org chart change are cards. Nothing happens until you tap.
- Alex says "done" only when the result says so. If a card is waiting, he says it is waiting.
- A task can be added at once if you chose a standing approval for tasks. The card says which.
- Tapping a card twice does it once.
Your Vault stays yours
Alex asks permission with a card before he reads a category of your Vault, and then answers only from those records.
Each workspace stays separate
Alex reads and changes only the workspace you're in. A worker sees only its own last 14 days of work with you, never another worker's conversations.
Questions to other workers
Alex can ask another worker a specific question and pass on its real answer. That only asks. It can't make the other worker act. If the call fails or the limit is reached, Alex says so. He doesn't guess and present it as theirs.
Who sees what
| Who | Sees |
|---|---|
| Owner or admin | Every cell, the cost for every cell and the total, and can add or remove workers |
| A cell's Lead or Budget owner | Their own cells and the cost for them |
| Anyone else | The cells they hold a role in |
Records
Org chart changes are added to a history, never edited or deleted. A correction is a new change, so the record is tamper-evident. A tamper-evident record shows that something changed. It doesn't prove the content is accurate.
What Alex won't do
- No legal, tax or financial advice. For a contract, ask Sterling, who flags it for you and your attorney. For the books, ask Max.
- No writing to your books himself. Statements and transactions go through Max.
- No acting for you without a card.
- No claiming something is connected when it isn't.
