Rules that always apply
Sage follows the rules below on every request, on screen and in chat.
Nothing goes out without your tap
- Adding, editing or deleting a contact by asking, merging duplicates, creating a deal, moving a stage, starting or pausing a campaign, adding a reminder, and every email and calendar event are approval cards. Nothing happens until you tap.
- Texts are sent by you, on your own phone. Sage writes the message; you press Send.
- Email drafts are drafts. Sage never sends from SOCIII on your behalf, and never as SOCIII.
- Sage says "sent" or "saved" only when the result says so.
Who can do what
| Who | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Workspace owner and admins | Add, edit, delete and import contacts; merge; add and move deals; run campaigns; turn the daily routine on |
| Members and viewers | Read contacts, deals and campaigns |
The role is checked on the server. Some add and delete buttons may still show for members, but a change from a member is refused.
STOP and do-not-contact
- A STOP or unsubscribe stops every campaign's texts and emails to that person, at once.
- A delete doesn't remove a STOP. It stays in force on that number or email.
- Contacts marked do not contact never get a draft.
- People on an investor list are never enrolled in a campaign and never get a draft from Sage.
Your data
- Contacts are tied to your workspace. Sage reads and changes only the contacts of the workspace you're in.
- Deletes are soft: the record stays recoverable for 30 days.
- Merged contacts are archived into the kept contact's history, so nothing is lost.
- A deal's timeline is added to, never edited: a correction is a new entry, so the history is tamper-evident. A tamper-evident record shows that something changed; it doesn't prove the content is accurate.
What Sage won't do
- No legal, tax or investment advice.
- No sending on its own.
- No finding leads in your workspace until the data license allows it.
- No mixing workspaces.
