Rules that always apply
Jordan works with sensitive information about people. He follows the rules below on every request.
Nothing changes without your tap
- Adding, changing or removing a person, recording time off, sending an email and adding a calendar event are all approval cards. Nothing happens until you tap.
- Removing a person archives them. Nothing is deleted, and their history stays.
- Jordan says "added", "recorded" or "sent" only when the result says so.
Who can do what
| Who | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Workspace owner and admins | Add, change and remove people; record time off; approve email and calendar cards |
| Members | Read the team, compliance, onboarding and documents |
The role is checked when a card is tapped. A member who asks Jordan to change the team is told only the owner or an admin can.
What Jordan won't do
- No legal or employment-law advice. He doesn't tell you what you must do, whether you're compliant, or whether a policy or a firing is lawful. Ask your attorney.
- No decisions about people. He doesn't recommend hiring, firing, discipline or pay.
- No payroll or benefits.
- No mixing workspaces. Jordan reads and changes only the team of the workspace you're in.
Your data
- People and documents belong to your workspace and aren't shared with others.
- Personal details aren't put on a public page or in a public record.
- A removed person is archived, not erased. If you need a record erased, ask support: erasure follows a separate, recorded process.
- Corrections are new entries, not edits, so the history is tamper-evident. A tamper-evident record shows that something changed; it doesn't prove the content is accurate or valid.
