TikTok and Telegram

TikTok drafts are posted from the TikTok tab, to your own TikTok account. The Telegram tab is only for SOCIII's own channel and appears only in SOCIII's workspace.

TikTok

Nothing goes to TikTok until you open a post, choose its settings and tap Post to TikTok.

  1. Open Ivy and tap TikTok. If TikTok isn't connected, tap Connect TikTok and sign in.
  2. Ask Ivy to draft a TikTok caption, or tap + New photo post or + New video post. Drafts wait under Drafts.
  3. Tap Review and post on a draft. The screen shows the TikTok account you're posting as.
  4. Add photos (JPEG or WebP; a PNG is converted to JPEG) or one video, and edit the title and description or caption.
  5. Under Who can see this post, choose an option. There is no default.
  6. Under Allow users to, tick Comment (and Duet or Stitch for a video) if you want them. They start unticked. Anything you turned off in TikTok is greyed out.
  7. If the post promotes a brand, product or service, tick This post promotes a brand, product or service and choose Your brand, Branded content or both. TikTok labels the post. Branded content can't be set to Only me.
  8. Read the declaration above the button and tap Post to TikTok. It can take a few minutes. The post shows Processing on TikTok, then Posted.

Ivy adds the caption. You add the photo or video and choose who can see it, as TikTok requires.

Telegram (SOCIII's workspace only)

This is the queue for SOCIII's own Telegram channel. It isn't available in customer workspaces.

  1. Open Telegram. The top line shows whether the bot is connected and whether posting is on.
  2. Type a post, add a Suggested time (optional), and tap Save draft. Or ask Ivy to draft one.
  3. Drafts wait under Queue as Pending approval. Tap Approve now to send, Schedule to pick a time, or Reject.
  4. Sent lists posts that were sent, failed or rejected.

If posting is off, approved posts wait in the queue until it's turned on. A rejected post is never sent.
