Pipelines, Task Board and Worker Status

These are Alex's working screens. In a business workspace, go to Home. Under Alex in the left menu you'll find Pipelines, Task Board, Org Chart, Staff Meeting and Worker Status.

Pipelines

A pipeline is a multi-step job that passes work from one worker to the next. Alex keeps track of it.

  1. Tap Pipelines, then Create Pipeline.
  2. Enter a Pipeline Name, then add Steps. A step can have a worker (optional). Tap + Add Step for more.
  3. Tap Create Pipeline.
  4. Open a pipeline to see its steps. Tap Advance to move it to the next step.

With no pipelines yet, the screen says so and shows how to start one.

Task Board

The Task Board lists the tasks Alex and your workers are tracking.

  1. Tap Task Board.
  2. Use the filters All, Pending, In Progress and Completed.
  3. Tap Create Task. Enter a Title. A Description, an Assigned Worker, a Priority and a Due Date are optional. Tap Create Task.
  4. Tap a task's status to change it.

In chat: say "Add a task: send the Q4 invoices, due Friday." Alex shows a one-tap card. The task is on the board when you tap Add, or at once if you turned on a standing approval for tasks. Ask "What's on my task board?" for the list. Other workers also add follow-ups here, for example a reminder to follow up with a contact.

Worker Status

  1. Open Alex, then tap Worker Status.
  2. Active Workers lists each worker on your team as Active or Idle.
  3. Worker Recommendations lists workers Alex suggests for your workspace, if there are any.

Staff Meeting

The Staff Meeting is where your workers report together. Each one posts a standup from its own records, the same numbers as its own tab.

  1. Tap Staff Meeting, or ask Alex: "Start the staff meeting."
  2. The owner or an admin taps Start the exec meeting. A cell's lead can start that cell's meeting. A cell's meeting includes only the workers turned on in that cell.
  3. Ask the room, or one worker, in the box at the bottom. Answers are read-only and come only from the standup lines. Just me answers privately from your own view.
  4. The chair taps Close with minutes. Decisions and action items are saved, and each action item becomes a Task Board card for you to tap.

The meeting never changes anything in your workspace by itself.
